Important information on immigration requirements
All visitors and delegates travelling to Côte d'Ivoire (except for nationals of ECOWAS member states) are required to obtain an entry visa. It is generally preferable and more convenient for you, to contact and obtain the visa from the Ivorian diplomatic mission in your country prior to departing. However, the Government of Côte d'Ivoire is generously facilitating visas on arrival for all ACF participants for a fee of USD 40 (to be paid in cash at the airport in Abidjan). In order to secure your visa on arrival, please complete the online registration and contact the organizers directly (firstname.lastname@example.org). You should then receive a letter from the Government of Côte d'Ivoire prior to starting your travel for the visa on arrival.
Visitors to Côte d'Ivoire should be in possession of a valid yellow fever health certificate.
Please note: Each person opting for visa on arrival needs the following to board flights, transit intermediate countries, and receive visa on arrival in Abidjan:
1 - Passport
valid for 6 months after departure from the country
The United Nations and the World Bank currently assess the security situation in Abidjan as appropriate for holding events and conducting business. The Government of Côte d'Ivoire is also providing security support. We look forward to welcoming you at the Africa Carbon Forum
