ACF 2018 - Event Guide

 

The 10th edition of the Africa Carbon Forum will be held from 11 to 13 April 2018 at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, the UN headquarters, which was established by the General Assembly in 1996. The premises are located at:

IMPORTANT: Onsite Registration

Upon initial arrival at the venue, participants need to present a valid government issued photo identification at the main pedestrian entrance of UNON, which is located on UN Avenue, opposite the American Embassy. Thereafter, everyone may proceed to the I.D. and Pass Office, adjacent to the main pedestrian entrance where they will be issued with a photo badge from UNID Pavilion, by UNON/Security. The badge will enable participants access to the venue from the moment of issuance till the end of the week

As the badge issuance might be quite a lengthy process, please be aware of time and try to get your badge as soon as possible. Onsite registration and pick-up of badges can commence already on Moday, 09 April from 07:30 am to 17:00 pm for those that are already in Nairobi, in order to avoid long queueing at the entrance on the day of your meeting/s.

Thereafter, onsite registration will take place during the following period:

  • Tuesday, 10 April07:30 am to 17:00 pm
  • Wednesday, 11 April: 07:30 am to 16:00 pm

 

WHERE TO GO ON THE PREMISES:

Conference Rooms 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are located in Conference East.

Conference Room 10 is located on the rooftop above the main lobby. The exhibitions will tentatively take place in the upper concourse area by the main lobby.
